Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe manages 5,500 QM documents with Doxis

Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL), a regional authority operating nine hospitals, needed a complete and easily accessible quality management (QM) manual for its 16,000 employees. The challenges included time-consuming maintenance of QM documents and difficult preparation for regular KTQ recertification. To address this, LWL partnered with vendor Doxis to implement its QM manual software solution.

Doxis provided a web-based solution for workflow-managed creation and approval of QM documents. The implementation resulted in a centralized knowledge management tool with easy, structured access to documents. This significantly reduced the time required to prepare for recertification, allowing all necessary documents to be obtained at the touch of a button. The Doxis solution successfully simplified maintenance and provided access throughout the LWL organization.
