Edeka Nord digitizes 64,000 paper documents with Doxis

The customer, EDEKA Nord, a major retailer, faced challenges in managing a large volume of physical property records, including an existing stock of 500 folders and 64,000 documents. Their goal was to make these documents instantly accessible and support a mobile workforce. They partnered with vendor Doxis to implement an electronic records management solution.

Doxis provided its electronic property records system based on Doxis Records Management, along with its content repository and archiving tools. The solution involved migrating the massive document archive and enabling secure remote access for staff. This allowed EDEKA Nord's property managers to access all necessary documents online from anywhere, eliminating the need to carry physical files. The project successfully digitized the existing records and now manages a current stock of 170,000 documents.
