PenFinancial Credit Union, serving over 11,000 members from four branches with $228M in assets, faced low eStatement adoption, duplicated logins, rising printing and mailing costs, and internal inefficiencies after a merger. To improve member convenience, security, and reduce costs, PenFinancial turned to Doxim and its eStatements solution (part of the Doxim Customer Engagement Platform) to deliver electronic statements and check images to members.

Doxim integrated its eStatements with PenFinancial’s MemberDirect banking portal and supported an active marketing and incentive campaign (staff sign‑up targets, sapling planting, and default e‑statements for new accounts) to drive opt‑ins. The initiative produced a 27% adoption increase in three months and a 66% eStatement rate after one year, saved over 70% in postage and mail costs, sped staff responses to member inquiries, and earned PenFinancial Doxim’s “Green Giant Award.”
