Westminster Savings Credit Union, through its WS Leasing subsidiary, was facing full on‑site file storage and rising offsite retention costs for lease documentation. Paper files were consuming productive office space, creating security and retrieval problems, and driving annual storage costs close to $79,000 with a needed capital outlay of about $50,000 to expand capacity. To address this, Westminster Savings engaged Doxim and its Doxim Document Imaging solution (part of the Doxim ECM/Customer Engagement Platform).
Doxim implemented a document imaging pilot that went live in one month and moved WS Leasing to electronic lease archives in the Doxim ECM. The change eliminated misfiled and unavailable paper files, allowed secure destruction of scanned documents (reducing hard‑copy filing by at least 80%), improved staff access and customer service, and produced immediate operational savings of over $25–26K per year — delivering a payback in under ten months. Doxim’s solution is now being expanded to other business units for additional savings.
