Commonwealth Financial Network Updates and Modernizes their Clarify Application by Implementing Dovetail Software

Commonwealth Financial Network, the nation’s largest privately held independent broker/dealer-RIA, was running a heavily customized Amdocs Clarify system that was critical to its operations but increasingly difficult to maintain, upgrade, and support. With 30 integrated applications and dependent workflows, the company needed a way to modernize the platform without the cost, risk, and disruption of a full replacement. It turned to Dovetail Software and its Clarify modernization solution.

Dovetail Software implemented the Dovetail Product Suite, including modules such as Agent, SDK, RuleManager, Carrier, TaskManager, and Schema Editor, while keeping the existing database in place. The result was a fully web-enabled, more reliable, and easier-to-support system with improved usability, performance, and configurability. Commonwealth Financial Network reported the upgrade time was reduced from three months to two weeks, and the project was delivered on time and within budget without disrupting business continuity.
