Command Alkon Replaces Clarify CRM with Web-Based Dovetail Agent Enabling Faster Growth

Command Alkon, a global leader in integrated solutions for the construction and bulk materials industries, needed a better way to support rapid growth across multiple divisions and locations. Its existing Clarify CRM thick client was difficult to customize, required Citrix for remote access, and took 6–9 months to roll out to each new division, creating major productivity and scalability challenges. Dovetail Software and its web-based Dovetail Agent were selected to address these issues.

Dovetail Software implemented Dovetail Agent in parallel with Clarify, using the same existing database so Command Alkon could avoid a costly data migration and transition gradually with minimal disruption. The result was a smoother rollout, reduced internal support costs, improved customization and integration, and no need for Citrix for remote users. Command Alkon ultimately moved entirely to Dovetail Agent, enabling faster growth, better global scalability, and stronger support for a 180-user environment.
