NortonLifeLock, a consumer cyber safety provider, faced limited protection for video campaigns because traditional post-bid blocking relies on VPAID, which covers fewer than 40% of desktop and mobile impressions and has zero coverage in CTV. NortonLifeLock engaged DoubleVerify and its DV Video Complete offering to find a way to extend brand safety, fraud and geo controls across desktop, mobile and CTV video inventory.

DoubleVerify implemented Video Complete with its new Video Filtering layer alongside pre-bid avoidance and blocking on two video campaigns. After activation, non‑compliant impressions across desktop, mobile and CTV dropped by 96%, and fraudulent and out‑of‑geo traffic were effectively eliminated on CTV.
