A Doubleknot Case Study
Save the Bay, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting Narragansett Bay, ran about 50 camp sessions and numerous tours each year but struggled with a cumbersome registration process: families completed online forms only to receive manual follow-up emails and payment requests, and staff had to extract addresses for every mailing. The organization needed a single, user-friendly online system so parents could complete registration in one place and staff could manage communications more efficiently.
After evaluating vendors and receiving a recommendation from the Audubon Society Rhode Island, Save the Bay selected Doubleknot. Implementation was quick, and the hosted solution unified camp and tour registration and payments, let staff make instant form changes, enabled scheduled mass emails through a built-in Communications Center, and removed IT maintenance burdens—delivering faster, more reliable registrations and improved communication for families and staff.
