Syracuse University, a private research university with more than $40 million in annual contributions, needed a way to capture more matching gift revenue by automating matching gift marketing on its donation pages and integrating that capability with Encompass forms. To solve this, Syracuse University partnered with Double the Donation and began using 360MatchPro to identify and pursue matching gift opportunities.

Double the Donation implemented 360MatchPro — including one of the first Encompass integrations — to screen donor emails, provide an employer autocomplete/search on gift forms, display matching guidance on thank-you pages, and automate follow-up messaging. The solution engaged 8,000+ donors, triggered first follow-up emails in about 3 seconds, identified over $45,000 in potential matches in a single month, and achieved roughly 58% donor engagement, demonstrating clear, measurable impact from Double the Donation’s platform.
