Lazarex Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 2006 that directs 100% of direct donations to program services, faced low donor awareness of employer matching gift programs and whether donors were eligible. Double the Donation provided an embedded employer search widget and resources on a dedicated matching gift page and integrated links into the donation confirmation page, automated thank-you emails, the "How You Can Help" page, and social media. As a result of Double the Donation’s tools and promotion strategy, Lazarex increased matching gifts by 200% (matching donations effectively tripled), delivering a substantial and sustained boost to fundraising with minimal ongoing maintenance.
