Southern California Public Radio (SCPR), the member-supported public radio station serving Southern California with roughly 75,000 donors, struggled to follow up with individual donors about employer matching gifts without diverting significant staff time. To automate outreach and capture more matches, SCPR implemented Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro beginning in August 2016 to identify match-eligible donors and drive submissions without manual follow-up.

Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro provided matching‑gift discovery tools, a confirmation-page matching widget, and fully customizable automated email workflows (sent from @kpcc.org) that guide donors through submitting matches. As a result SCPR saw a 55% increase in matching gift revenue, a 60% match‑email open rate, an average 1‑hour time to first follow-up email, and tangible pipeline results (870 match opportunities identified totaling $115,268 and 225 matches submitted totaling $38,177), demonstrating measurable impact from Double the Donation’s solution.
