The Greater Boston Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief organization in New England serving over 80,000 donors and distributing more than 100 million pounds of food annually, needed a better way to capture corporate matching gift revenue. Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro was embedded into GBFB’s donation flow to screen email domains, offer an autocomplete employer search, display full match instructions on the thank-you page, and send automated, customizable follow-up emails. The automation simplified donor action and staff workload and delivered measurable results: a 56% increase in annual matching gift revenue (from $1,188,585 to $1,853,036), over $790,000 in match-eligible dollars identified, a 43% open rate on match emails (vs. a 20% industry average), and strong donor engagement.
