The Capital Area Food Bank, one of the nation’s largest food banks, sought to capture “low-hanging fruit” by boosting matching gift revenue and improving matching gift marketing. To do this they partnered with Double the Donation and implemented the 360MatchPro platform to integrate matching gifts into the donation flow, automatically identify likely match-eligible donors, and prompt donors to pursue company matches.
Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro was embedded in donation forms and tied to the CRM to screen emails, surface employer match guidelines, and run automated follow-up outreach. In under 12 months the program identified over $440,000 in match-eligible revenue, engaged 130K+ donors via 360MatchPro, sent 165K+ emails with a 48% open rate, and saw 74% of donors access matching gift forms/guidelines or open multiple emails—driving more match submissions and richer donor-level data.
