Precitool Werkzeughandel GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture in tool logistics and procurement, required a modern and central e-commerce platform to serve its various partners and B2B customers across Europe. To address this challenge, they partnered with dotSource to implement a flexible multi-client platform using the commercetools e-commerce software.

dotSource developed a solution based on over 100 microservices and migrated the entire system to the Microsoft Azure cloud. This approach, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), allowed for a flexible and easily adaptable platform. The migration to Azure resulted in increased efficiency, a reduced time to market, and significantly lower effort and costs for Precitool.
