Krystal Biotech, a Pittsburgh-based leader in redosable gene therapy developing genetic medicines such as beremagene geperpavec (VYJUVEKTM) for rare diseases, faced fragmented experimental data, time-consuming manual sharing, and difficulty mining results from siloed Excel files. Seeking a flexible electronic lab notebook (ELN) that could scale into a broader R&D platform, Krystal selected Dotmatics to standardize data capture, secure storage, and multi-factor protected access.

Dotmatics implemented its Platform and ELN to centralize searchable scientific data, enforce standardized workflows, and enable permissioned cross‑functional collaboration.
