The Institute of Cancer Research’s Cancer Research UK Cancer Therapeutics Unit (CTU) — the largest academic cancer drug discovery group worldwide, with a track record since 2005 of 17 preclinical candidates (seven now in clinical trials) — faced siloed data, limited access and no unified cheminformatics platform.
