Case Study: Addex Therapeutics achieves 50% faster data analysis and centralized R&D with Dotmatics

A Dotmatics Case Study

Preview of the Addex Therapeutics Case Study

Creating Novel Small Molecule Drugs for Patients with Central Nervous System Diseases

Addex Therapeutics, a Geneva‑based biotech developing oral allosteric modulators for CNS disorders, faced fragmented, hard‑to‑find R&D data, complex workflows, and staff turnover that hampered collaboration and slowed discovery. To address this, Addex sought a modern, interoperable scientific data platform with centralized data, automatic classification, and configurable workflows and selected the Dotmatics R&D data platform.

Dotmatics implemented a flexible, scientist‑configured central data platform that unified molecule/inventory management, results and analysis workflows, and searchability across teams. As a result, 11 Addex scientists now work from a harmonized system that improved collaboration and process standardization and delivered measurable impact — Addex estimates a 50% reduction in time spent analyzing data — with ongoing expansions of Dotmatics functionality planned.
