Charles River Laboratories rolls out Dotmatics ELN to 500 researchers across the UK and Netherlands

Charles River Laboratories (CRL), a global contract research organization (CRO) with over 100 facilities, sought to develop a 'Lab of the Future' by streamlining processes and integrating applications to enhance their drug discovery and development efforts. To support this strategic migration toward cloud-based offerings, CRL implemented Dotmatics solutions, including its Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).

Dotmatics provided its ELN platform for use in biology, chemistry, and DMPK to approximately 500 researchers across CRL's UK and Netherlands locations. The implementation, overseen by the company's Director of Business Technology Partnership, was a significant success. The rollout was overwhelmingly agreed to be a huge success by the researchers, marking a major step in CRL's large-scale technology modernization for its Early Discovery business unit.
