To address this, Village Hotels partnered with dormakaba (in collaboration with hetras) to introduce a mobile access offering based on dormakaba’s BLE‑enabled mobile lock technology.

dormakaba integrated its mobile access solution with hetras’ cloud PMS so guests can check in online, receive a secure BLE mobile credential, and use their phone as a room key. The dormakaba solution has been rolled out across the Village Hotels portfolio and is being well‑received by customers, enhancing convenience, enabling a self‑service guest journey, and modernizing the hotel experience.
