Serviceplan, a global agency group with 23 locations, moved into its new Munich headquarters, the House of Communication, where it needed a smart and secure access solution for a highly open, flexible office complex. The challenge was to protect multiple business units and tenants, secure the external perimeter after hours, enable barrier-free access for visitors and employees, and replace keys with ID cards or smartphones. dormakaba provided the access management system MATRIX PRO to support these requirements.

dormakaba implemented a browser-based, modular MATRIX PRO access control solution integrated with HR systems, along with 91 12 BLE electronic compact readers, PIN code entry for after-hours perimeter security, and wireless gateways. Inside the buildings, digital c-lever air fittings and digital cylinders were installed on most doors, while ED 100/250 operators, SafeRoute terminals, SVP self-locking panic locks, and TS 93/98 door closers addressed accessibility, fire protection, and escape route security. The result was a uniform, scalable access system that supports flexible working and improves convenience and safety across the site.
