Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire needed flexible, private treatment spaces for a new chemotherapy unit. dormakaba was selected to supply its FSW EASY Safe folding sliding wall system to meet the hospital’s privacy and space-efficiency requirements while providing a simple, reliable solution for staff to operate.

dormakaba supplied and supported installation of two FSW EASY Safe assemblies that create four separate patient bays (with the option of up to eight panels using bi‑parting assemblies), featuring laminated safety glass, a pivoting access door and a clear status display. Working with contractor Access & Automation, dormakaba’s installation services solved time constraints, maximised usable space by avoiding a separate park, delivered a smooth commissioning and left the client satisfied with improved privacy and a quieter treatment environment.
