Queen Creek Library - Customer Case Study

Queen Creek Library needed to meet a 2007 Town of Queen Creek policy requiring municipal buildings over 5,000 sq ft to achieve minimum LEED standards while also providing a safe, secure community hub. Contractor CORE Construction Services selected dormakaba architectural hardware for internal and external doorways — including surface door closers, exit devices, stops and holders, and locksets — to support the project’s green and security requirements.

dormakaba supplied environmentally conscious hardware and manufacturing processes that contributed LEED points across multiple categories and delivered reliable, safe door systems for the library. As a result, the Queen Creek Library, which opened in November 2008 as the first building completed under the new policy, met the town’s LEED requirements and benefited from durable, secure access solutions.
