Embassy Gardens, the residential and commercial centrepiece of the Nine Elms regeneration in Battersea, needed a high-quality glazing solution for apartments with internal winter gardens so residents could enjoy outdoor space year‑round while maximising light and views. dormakaba was appointed by developer Ballymore to supply its FSW-G folding sliding glass wall system for the project.

dormakaba installed 108 sets of the FSW-G system— a minimalist, robust folding glass wall with top and bottom rails and a concertina action that creates a concise parked stack—across the residential units. The solution increased visibility and natural light, added contemporary appeal to the development, and allowed occupants to use their winter gardens whatever the weather.
