Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation - Customer Case Study

The Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation, a charitable organization in Winter Park, FL, needed to transform a 3,200 sq ft office that received limited perimeter daylight into a brighter, more collaborative workplace. Architect Wes Featherston selected dormakaba’s DORMA glass interior solutions — including the DRS Dri‑Fit® glazing system, DRS tapered rails, RP header with RTS88 overhead concealed door closer, and TG 9387 pulls — to maximize natural light while addressing privacy needs.

dormakaba’s glass systems allowed more than 70 feet of continuous glass wall with minimal hardware, letting daylight penetrate private offices while Mecho shades provided adjustable privacy. The redesign delivered a modern, lighter environment that staff and visitors prefer, produced measurable daylighting across the 3,200 sq ft space, and yielded reported morale benefits described as a “mental lift.”
