Commercial Bank of Dubai’s striking steel-and-glass headquarters on the waterfront posed a challenge to balance architectural transparency and elegance with robust safety and reliable access. To meet these needs, dormakaba was engaged to provide high-quality entrance solutions, including more than 100 dormakaba MANET glass and stainless steel door systems and AL 400 automatic door operators for the heavy sliding doors in the reception lobby.

dormakaba implemented the MANET systems across multiple levels of the complex and synchronized the lobby’s heavy sliding doors with AL 400 operators, delivering automated, coordinated operation while preserving the building’s aesthetic intent. The installation of over 100 dormakaba units provided consistent, safety-focused access throughout the headquarters and seamlessly integrated with the architects’ design.
