Case Study: Banco Provincia achieves 98.7% deliverability and major cost savings with Doppler Relay

How one of the most important banks in Argentina has managed to reduce their logistics costs by 1000% thanks to Transactional Email

Banco Provincia, one of Argentina’s oldest and most important banks, needed a reliable way to deliver monthly digital credit card statements to roughly 300,000 subscribers on time. To replace costly paper mailings and ensure secure, trackable inbox delivery, they partnered with Doppler Relay to send personalized transactional statements.

Using Doppler Relay’s automated FTP-to-email process (Banco Provincia uploads a ZIP with a CSV and each client’s statement), Doppler Relay detects, processes and delivers the emails over SSL while tracking deliveries and opens. In November 2016 Doppler Relay sent 289,766 emails with a 98.70% deliverability rate, 144,477 opens (50% open rate), 1.03% hard bounces and 0.27% soft bounces; the move cut mailing costs dramatically (transactional cost U$S0.0005/email vs U$S0.80 for traditional mail), saving U$S1,920,000 over eight months and reducing overall costs substantially.
