Ironwood Apartments, a 182‑unit building developed by Alatus and operated by Greystar in New Hope, MN, needed a way to attract downtown renters to a suburban setting by offering differentiated, tech-forward amenities. To meet that challenge they selected DOOR’s smart access solution to secure and simplify access to the building’s exterior doors, unit entries and a wide range of shared spaces—coworking areas, fitness center, lounges, package room and canteen.

DOOR’s system provides smartphone, keycard and code entry plus access histories, enabling flexible move‑ins, easier day‑to‑day access without juggling keys, and an honor‑system canteen monitored via entry logs. The result was smoother operations for management, greater resident convenience, and stronger amenity use—so much so that Alatus is rolling DOOR out to additional Minnesota projects.
