Doodle Helps Them Organize Meetings of Up to 70 Attendees for Its Complete Count Committee to Ensure a Successful Census

The City of Arvada, Colorado — led by neighborhood engagement officer Charise Canales in the City Manager’s office — needed to coordinate frequent meetings with diverse external stakeholders while preparing for the 2020 census and forming a Complete Count Committee of about 70 community leaders. Scheduling large external meetings by email created time-consuming back-and-forth, so the City turned to Doodle Premium to streamline external meeting coordination.

Doodle implemented timed polls, automatic calendar entries, deadline settings and reminder automation to quickly identify a meeting time for large groups and reduce outreach work. Using Doodle, Arvada successfully scheduled the Complete Count Committee’s first training, can organize meetings of up to 70 attendees, and estimates the team saves about 3 hours per week thanks to fewer emails and manual follow-ups.
