Dooap helped set a global organization free from office-based invoice processing

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Switzerland, the Swiss office of the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders, faced a significant challenge in its accounts payable process. With a global workforce and a mission-critical need to direct funds to its projects, its accounting was entirely paper-based. This became a major operational hurdle during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, as staff were required to be physically present in the office to process invoices. The head of global accounting and treasury, Benoit Lecorche, sought an accounts payable automation solution from vendor Dooap to enable his team to work remotely and efficiently.

Dooap implemented its AP automation solution for MSF Switzerland by the end of 2021, completing the project on schedule and within budget. The solution streamlined the invoice approval process, freeing the organization from its office-based system. Since launch, Dooap has received highly positive feedback from internal users, who are very satisfied with both the software and the quality of customer care provided. The implementation by Dooap has allowed MSF's accounting team to be utilized more effectively.
