Goodman Jewish Family Services - Customer Case Study

Goodman Jewish Family Services of Broward County needed a more effective, donor-friendly way to collect real-time pledges at its 2017 Feed the Need Brunch and to visibly display fundraising progress. With a $20,000 goal for 134 attendees, the organization wanted an alternative to static pledge cards that would engage guests and capture more opt-ins for future outreach.

Using DPText, JFS sent attendees an opt-in text 10 minutes before the ask, displayed a live pledge meter during the event, and followed up with donate links that evening and the next day. The results: $24,096 raised (surpassing the goal), $12,629 from 38 text-initiated donors, 90 new text opt-ins, 75% of pledges converted that day and 100% within a week, and an average of $261 more raised per attendee versus previous events.
