How The Center raised $1 million with DonorDrive

The Center, the LGBTQ community organization serving New York City, needed a more configurable and robust fundraising platform to replace outdated systems that were limiting donor experience, customization, and access to 20+ years of supporter data. DonorDrive was brought in to help modernize its fundraising technology and support a more engaging, personalized approach, including its annual Cycle for the Cause event.

With DonorDrive’s fundraising platform and Salesforce NPSP integration, The Center launched a virtual version of its ride fundraiser called the 275 Challenge, featuring activity tracking, milestones, incentives, and personalized supporter experiences. The event was built in just 8 weeks and raised nearly $1 million in 2020, and its success was so strong that The Center now plans to run it annually alongside the in-person ride.
