Case Study: Harmon, Inc. achieves world-class safety (incident rate under 1.0) with Donesafe Safety Management System

Construction company adopts a safety management system and new training, leading to world-class health and safety results

Harmon, Inc., a leading U.S. commercial construction glazier with 17 locations and about 1,000 employees, wrestled with decentralized, paper- and spreadsheet-based safety tracking and outdated, disengaging training. To centralize reporting, standardize training, and improve companywide communication, Harmon selected vendor Donesafe to provide a Safety Management System (SMS) and online safety training/LMS.

Donesafe implemented a sandbox-tested, phased SMS rollout with simple field workflows, automated notifications, and centralized documentation, plus online training to replace legacy videos. Within a year Harmon logged five to six times more reports, used the expanded data to drive corrective actions, and saw its incident rate fall from roughly 4.4–4.6 down to about 1.7 and sustain at or below 1.0 for many months — delivering measurable, world-class safety improvements under Donesafe.
