Case Study: BESIX Watpac achieves global, centralised EHS standardisation and better reporting with Donesafe

A Donesafe Case Study

Preview of the BESIX Watpac Case Study

How BESIX upgraded and consolidated its tracking system to one cohesive and centralized EHS platform

BESIX Watpac, a global construction group with more than 11,000 employees across 26 countries, was struggling with fragmented EHS processes—paper forms, emails, Excel and multiple digital tools—that required manual data transfer, undermined data integrity, and prevented company‑wide visibility. Wanting a highly configurable, multilingual and user‑friendly solution that could meet complex project, legal and ISO requirements, BESIX Watpac chose Donesafe to deliver a centralised EHS platform (branded internally as OASIS).

Donesafe implemented a personalised platform with 23 QHSE modules, SSO and BI integrations, and numerous system interfaces; in 18 months OASIS was deployed on over 580 projects with more than 1,400 active users. The Donesafe rollout standardised forms and reporting across locations, delivered ISO 45001/9001/14001‑aligned capabilities, increased incident/observation reporting for proactive risk management, improved tender competitiveness, enabled ESG data capture, and consolidated reliable, comparable data for global safety insight.
