How Leukaemia Foundation Achieved a 65% Increase in Incident Reporting and Transformed Safety with Donesafe

Leukaemia Foundation, an Australian not-for-profit supporting people affected by blood cancer, needed to replace a basic IT ticketing system that couldn’t properly manage workplace safety, maintenance, contractor workflows, clinical governance, or external submissions. The old setup was fragmented, manual, and lacked the reporting and oversight required for a growing need for compliance and board-level visibility. Donesafe’s HSI Donesafe platform was chosen to provide a more flexible, safety-focused system.

Donesafe implemented a configurable, centralized platform for WHS, clinical incidents, facilities, contractor management, and feedback, supported by scenario-based testing and stakeholder-driven rollout. The result was high user adoption, simpler workflows, better data visibility, and stronger compliance and governance. Most notably, Leukaemia Foundation saw a 65% increase in incident submissions after going live, giving leaders better insight to identify trends, improve planning, and demonstrate stronger engagement to executives and the board.
