WKS Restaurant Group, founded in 1987, operates five distinct brands across nearly 400 locations in 19 states and doubled in size over the past five years. That rapid growth exposed a major challenge: each brand used different, often legacy systems, making it difficult and time-consuming to aggregate sales, HR, accounting, and customer data and to give district leaders and general managers the right insights when they needed them.
Working with MERGE, WKS implemented Domo to pull data from POS, HR, accounting, maintenance and customer sentiment systems, create visualizations, and enforce personalized access. Automated reports and dashboards freed staff from manual data compilation, gave leaders granular, location-level visibility into revenue, costs, internet uptime and turnover, and enabled targeted actions—like prioritized IT upgrades, proactive maintenance and a 90‑day retention program—accelerating time to value and empowering managers to run more data-driven restaurants.
