Vinomofo is a Melbourne-based online wine retailer founded in 2011 that emails daily wine deals to roughly 120,000 customers across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Their data was trapped in a custom-built website, meaning executives and marketers had to rely on an often-busy web team for reporting; they needed to aggregate multiple data sources into a single source of truth and take data ownership away from engineering bottlenecks.

Using Domo to centralize Google Analytics, email platform and order data, Vinomofo gave 20+ users near real-time access and the ability to build their own cards and reports — from marketing performance dashboards to the CFO’s weekly revenue and customer metrics — saving about 1 FTE in finance. The change drove more transparent, data-driven decision making across the 100+ person company, made meetings more productive, and shifted reporting responsibility to the teams that need it.
