Traveloka, Indonesia’s first unicorn and a leading online travel portal in Southeast Asia, needed to protect revenue in a fast-moving, high-volume marketplace. Even minutes of platform disruption could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the company also needed a self-service analytics solution to give large numbers of employees timely access to data without creating information bottlenecks.
After evaluating 30 analytics platforms, Traveloka selected Domo for its self-service capabilities, Personalized Data Permission (PDP) controls, and flexible alerting and slicing tools. Within eight months more than half the workforce was using the platform, Domo enabled targeted alerts and broader data access across 7,000 associates, removed bottlenecks, and helped the company act quickly to capture opportunities and reduce potential revenue loss.
