Penola Catholic School Improves Its Student Insight With Domo

Penola Catholic College is a co-educational secondary school in Melbourne serving about 1,500 students from diverse socioeconomic and linguistic backgrounds across two campuses. Educators struggled with fragmented data—student records, assessments, attendance and pastoral information lived in multiple systems—making it time-consuming to synthesize insights and increasing the risk that at‑risk students would be overlooked.

Working with 9x5 Consulting, the school implemented Education360 on Domo to consolidate four internal and six external data sources into real-time dashboards that show class summaries or drill down to individual students. The platform eliminated manual data collection, gave hours back to teachers, enabled targeted, differentiated instruction and earlier identification of issues, and provided leaders with the actionable insights needed to make better decisions and improve student outcomes.
