Emerson’s Cold Chain business, a $17 billion manufacturing division, needed a better way to capture, share and act on IoT temperature data across the global perishable supply chain. Its challenge was turning engineering‑oriented telemetry into easily understood insights customers and internal teams could use to verify temperatures, troubleshoot issues, and make faster operational decisions.
Emerson deployed Domo (including Domo Everywhere) to ingest sensor data, create self‑serve dashboards, and share real‑time traceability with customers and teams (1,150 Domo users). The result: customers can track and verify temperatures end‑to‑end, Emerson shifted from a product vendor to a strategic business partner, sales and solution conversations increased, and marketing and operations performance are now tied directly to revenue.
