Buildertrend, a construction management platform for homebuilders and remodelers, wanted to add a new analytics offering that would help customers turn their data into real-time insights. Working with Domo, Buildertrend used Domo Embed to build customizable reporting into its platform and make the product more valuable beyond basic communication and documentation.

Domo’s embedded data platform enabled real-time project tracking, cash flow forecasting, and self-service analytics without leaving Buildertrend. The result was strong business impact: the new analytics product became one of Buildertrend’s top-selling add-ons, drove about 2% of overall revenue in its first year, accounted for 25–30% of cross-sell/upsell revenue, and helped reduce onboarding time from over four hours to under 15 minutes while improving retention, satisfaction, and close rates.
