Cadence uses Dome9 Arc for Robust Security Across its Multi-Cloud Environment

Cadence, a global technology company with a fast-growing multi-cloud environment, needed a consistent way to secure and manage cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP. As its footprint expanded to more than 1,000 instances, 770 security groups, 115 Amazon VPCs, and 4,000 different network security policies and rules, the company faced challenges around visibility, access control, and compliance. Cadence turned to Dome9 Security and the Dome9 Arc platform to help manage that complexity.

Using Dome9 Arc, Cadence implemented Clarity for network visualization, Active Protection for enforcement, and Compliance Engine reporting for AWS and Azure. The team used features such as Dynamic Access Leases, Tamper Protection, Region Lock, and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark validation to maintain control and prove compliance. Cadence estimated that Dome9 saves the company more than $450,000 annually by avoiding the need to hire three additional SecOps team members.
