Newport News Public Schools, which educates 28,680 students across 42 schools, needed to convert a large volume of paper records and replace a legacy electronic storage system that wasn’t integrated with their ERP (Tyler Munis) while also addressing limited physical storage. They engaged DOMA Technologies to implement a cohesive digital document management strategy using DOMA’s Cloud Services and the DOMA DX software platform.

DOMA Technologies migrated two on‑premise data centers to a redundant cloud infrastructure, deployed a unified backfile scanning program across five departments, and integrated DOMA DX with HR and Tyler Munis. DOMA moved 750+ GB of legacy data into DOMA DX, making 5.5M+ documents centrally accessible and enabling five departments to collaborate via the DX portal—resulting in increased productivity, a streamlined file room, and simpler content management.
