The City of Portsmouth was struggling with a massive archive of paper personnel files and siloed electronic content that made onboarding slow and information hard to access. DOMA Technologies provided a modernization approach, offering document digitization services and its cloud-native DX content management platform to address those challenges.

DOMA Technologies digitized paper, microfiche, CDs/DVDs and other media, OCR-scanned records, migrated 175 GB of legacy data into the DX platform, and integrated the system with Portsmouth’s HR and Finance software. As a result, the city now has centralized, role-based access to over 3 million documents, eliminated off-site storage, reduced on-site IT support, and streamlined daily workflows and employee onboarding.
