Alzheimer’s Association launches Science Hub for 25,000+ users with Dom & Tom

The Alzheimer’s Association needed a creative solution to provide its vast network of volunteers and advocates across the United States with timely, credible, and engaging educational content on Alzheimer's and dementia. They partnered with the vendor Dom & Tom to develop a centralized mobile application that would eliminate misinformation and empower the public with solid science.

Dom & Tom built the "Science Hub" mobile app for iOS and Android using React Native and the Contentful CMS, creating a platform with key features like research summaries and a robust search function. The solution was a tremendous success, achieving a consistent 5-star rating on the Apple App Store and serving over 25,000 users. The vendor continues to support the Association with new features, aiding their mission to rid the world of Alzheimer's.
