Hope Hospice - Customer Case Study

Hope Hospice is a 30-year nonprofit serving end-of-life patients and families in the San Ramon/Tri-Valley area. Faced with the need to create a mission-aligned, family-friendly fundraiser that broadened community engagement, controlled costs, secured sponsors, and moved from paper-based to more efficient registration, they designed an event that would be inclusive for all ages and respectful of their constituency.

They launched “Hike for Hope,” led by a volunteer committee, leveraged in-kind media and local sponsorships (including $34,500 in corporate support), and used DoJiggy for online registration—which saw 97% adoption. With about 700 participants, $88,000 raised to date, and minimal expenses, the campaign met its goals and validated the switch to online event management.
