Asparagus Beach Clothing Store - Customer Case Study

Asparagus Beach owner Lisa Levitin partnered with B East Fitness Studio to run their first joint fundraising spin-a-thon for the Ellen Hermanson Foundation. With only three months to plan, they faced tight timelines, limited sponsor commitments and the challenge of recruiting enough committed participants for a large fundraising goal.

They launched a Dojiggy event site with personal fundraising pages, organized a “Chinese Auction” of in-kind donations to boost promotion and revenue, and promoted the event on-site, through local media and by leveraging vacation traffic. Staff helped register participants, and the campaign drew 42 riders and nearly $26,000—surpassing their target of 40 bikes and coming close to the $1,000-per-participant goal—while raising awareness for the Foundation.
