Lightricks, a software company in Israel known for its innovative mobile apps, needed a more flexible analytics platform to replace a costly, fragile in-house legacy system that was slowing feature delivery and forcing the data team into constant firefighting. With DoiT International’s help, Lightricks migrated to an AWS-based platform built around Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics and Amazon DynamoDB, moving from monolithic architecture to functional apps. The new system delivered much greater insight, reduced latency from one hour to one second, and cut costs by 90% versus the legacy platform’s equivalent feature set, while also improving scalability, fault tolerance, and time to market for new features.
