How Huq built a powerful data platform to deliver near real-time location data at scale

Huq Industries, a UK-based information services and data analytics company, needed to modernize its data platform to deliver near real-time location intelligence at scale while keeping cloud costs under control. To support its migration to Google Cloud, Huq worked with DoiT International and used tools including reOptimize CMP and superQuery IDE.

DoiT International helped Huq optimize its Google Cloud architecture, improve BigQuery and Dataflow efficiency, and build a pipeline that ingests, processes, and exports nearly one billion geo-location records per day. As a result, Huq cut its cloud bill by 50% even as data volumes grew fourfold, and the new stack is designed to scale up to 100x more data without changing the architecture.
