Complex Global Property Management Made a Little Easier with doForms

JLL, a global real estate management and investment services firm headquartered in Chicago, needed to manage complex, system-wide store renovations and large-scale onsite data collection for major retailers (one project covered a discount retailer with over 11,500 U.S. stores). Teams were spending 9–10 hours per store — about 6 hours onsite completing an 80‑page survey plus 3–4 hours collating back at the hotel — creating manual data‑entry bottlenecks and slow reporting, so JLL turned to doForms for a mobile forms solution.

doForms enabled JLL to rebuild inspections with skip logic, embedded photos and sketches, timestamps, GPS and voice‑to‑text, cutting an 80‑page form down to 17 pages, eliminating hours of daily collation and automating backend data integration. The result was near‑real‑time data access, improved data integrity, redeployment of a full‑time data clerk to higher‑value tasks, significant ongoing cost savings, faster operations and happier clients — and the project earned 2nd place in JLL’s daVinci Awards.
