A DocuSign Case Study
YesCredit is a Filipino lending startup launched in 2015 that aims to expand access to personal loans for workers traditionally excluded by strict bank criteria. To reach customers across the Philippines via smartphone and web, YesCredit needed a fully digital process for legally binding loan paperwork (loan agreements and promissory notes) that complied with the Philippines’ Electronic Commerce Act and avoided the delays and cost of wet-ink signatures and physical offices.
YesCredit selected DocuSign’s eSignature and DTM platform and integrated it via DocuSign’s API so borrowers can complete and sign all documents within the YesCredit website. The integration ensured legal compliance and bank-grade security, cut turnaround time from days to 5–20 minutes, achieved over 99% electronic adoption, and delivered a seamless, more efficient lending experience without physical paperwork or courier costs.
